Howdy folks!

Aubrey was in the parade at the Liberty Fall Festival.

The girls were told to wear cowgirl wear and we had bought the pink cowboy hat at Silver Dollar City this past summer. Studio 10's main colors are pink and black so we had to get some pink boots. It was a great fall day and Aubrey loved being in the parade!

Happy Birthday Dad!

This weekend was my dad's 57th birthday. We went to Stockton Lake to spend the weekend with him. Here are some pictures of Jacks! He
turned 7 on August 22. 49 in dog years and boy does he look
like it. He is huge, going gray, and can't get around too well.

Dad has some friends that have a house boat and Aubrey had a blast going down their slide. I caught her in mid flight.

happy Labor Day 2 days late

I have been a bad blogger lately. I attempted it twice last week and it didn't upload right, so I quit trying. Here are some picture on Labor Day. We didn't do too much. We went to the park and rode bikes. Jay went hunting over the weekend and the kids and I went to Stockton Lake. I will post pictures soon of the lake. Hope everyone is doing well. I will try to update the blog a little more often.

Love, Janna

Hi all!

Ok, I have the pictures out of order. Last week was crazy and flew by. Aubrey is doing great in school and we went for Parent Information Night and learned what she does inside Kindergarten. She is adjusting well and is already learning so many new things.

We went to Nana and Papa's in Branson this weekend. We hit the lake on Saturday in Papa's boat (it held 15 people). The kids went tubing and swimming. We then headed down to Branson Landing at 6pm and tried to get a reservation at Joe's Crab Shack. They informed us it would be a 3 hour wait. We had five hungry kiddos so we opted for Famous Daves wait of 1 1/2 hours. The food was excellent.

The first pictures are of Aubrey and Nick tonight. Aubrey got wet in the rainstorm and was freezing. She went and put on a sweater, hat, gloves, and slippers. Of course Nick had to follow her and proceeded to get his outdoor gear on.

Have a good week,

Love, the Thomason's

happy sunday

Hi everyone, sorry it's taken me so long to blog. Everyday life just seems to fly by and before you know it the weekend is over. Aubrey loved kindergarten and did great Thur and Friday. She can't wait to go back and it really makes it easier on me too. I took a week off and went back to work on Friday and then was on call from Friday night to Sunday morning at 7am. We have to take call in the recovery room approximately every 13-14 weekend. Well I got called in alot. On sat day I was there from 8-3pm, then 8-10:30 pm, then 1:30-3am. I was blown out tired, but we still went to church for the blessing of the backpacks. Jay went to Columbia this
weekend to help my brother Todd sheet rock a 4th bedroom.
My mom and grandma helped me out a ton by watching
the kids.

The pictures are of the kids Sat afternoon. They love each other in the first and hate each other in the second. I just let them go at it and they worked it out on the thier own. Note Aubrey's highlights in her hair. Ma got her a kit at Target. Aubrey was so excited to have pink and blue hair highlights. They washed right out today so no body have a coronary!

The last two pictures are of the air vent in Nick's room. He is such a funny little guy and always puts everything in rows and according to color. He lined all his Thomas the train engines just right to fit on the vent. Another instance, today at church Nick went to the coloring table and sorted out all the green colors and all the purple colors before he started to color. Then this kid came up and threw all the colors on the ground and Nick pushed him down, but that is a whole other story.
But I thought these pictures were interesting. Boys and girls
are so different.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Kindergarten Blues

Here are the famous Kindergarten pictures. She woke up so excited. She was singing " I'm going to Kindergarten" over and over. She kept saying " I am a little nervous, mom" We told her that was perfectly normal and everyone else was nervous too. She did great all the way to school and found her teacher right away. You can tell in the last two pictures she was getting a little aprehensive (sp?). Then Mrs Birkland said, "Kindergartners, tell your parents good-bye", she then looked at me and started to cry. There was another little girl that started crying before her and I think that is what triggered it. I had my sunglasses on and I was trying so hard not to show my tears, so Mrs. Birkland took Aubrey to the front of the line and I think she was ok. I am not for sure b/c I was running to my car crying. I know she will do great and this is just part of the life process, but it still doesn't make it any easier. Jay thinks I am crazy, but I can't help it.

I will post later tonight and let you all know how the first day went!!

Love,

the crazy emotional mother

Last day before school starts

Tuesday we headed to the Aquatic Center at Tiffany Springs. It was a pretty cool place, but potentially dangerous. Both of my kids nearly drowned a couple of times. The center has a lazy river, a whirlpool, huge slide, olympic size lap pool, and a fun area that had lots of little people slides. The kids had a great time and Aubrey took our next door neighbor Serena.

Last night after supper and baths, we had a party with games and cake to celebrate Aubrey going to Kindergarten!!! She is so excited.
