Look at the new Nick

Hi all! We just HAD to pass this on!!! Nick took a bath tonight and hewanted to go dry his hair with the hairdryer, so we said "ok just make sureyou turn the hairdryer off" We then went into the living room and werewatching tv and he comes in and says "hey mom, feel this" I look over tosee his haircut. I did a double take and had to look away and then lookback again. I said "no way". It took Jay a while to figure out what wasgoing on, but he caught on. We couldn't help but laugh which made Nickfurious. He started crying and we started laughing even harder. Needlessto say, we had to buzz his whole head of hair. I had just commentedrecently on how his hair was just starting to lay down better. He wascrying and said he was never going to leave the house and all his friendswould laugh at him. We calmed him down and the last picture is the one ofhim in bed happy. I couldn't believe he did this. Aubrey kept saying whenI did that Mommy cried! It was just before she started kindergarten whenshe cut her eyebrows and eyelashes. What is wrong with us! No scissorsallowed at the thomason's.

Take your child to work day

Aubrey finally got to participate in the North Kansas City Hospital Take your child to work day! She has been waiting to do this since she was little. You have to be age 7 and she had been looking forward to it for weeks. They had a neat little program where she got to go to different stations. She really liked the OR rotation where they got to see bones and instruments. They also had a infection station where they rubbed their hands with glow in the dark lotion and then they washed their hands and looked under a glow light to see if they still had any germs left. It was pretty cool. She has a mallot in her hand that is used to chip away bone.

Then last two pictures are of her and her friends at a Dancersize program for brownies. They had a little workshop and then put on a little program to Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Field Trip

I got to go with Aubrey on her 1st grade field trip a couple of weeks ago. We went to the discovery center down by the Kaufman center. The kids loved it and I even learned a couple of things. Notice the picture on the boat. Emma and Aubrey are in thier standard little pose. It was so funny b/c everyone else was sitting normal and here they were posing it up. Oh those girls!

Baby Luke

Here is Luke. He is my baby nephew. I guess he is really not a baby anymore. Luke is 18months old. My brother and sister in law were in the process of moving and Luke got to come stay with us. I told Jay I could handle having three kiddos. He told me I was CRAZY!!! Anyways Luke is a great little guy and had a blast. His mom and dad wanted some pictures of him with his Cardinal wear on. I know can you believe I agreed to this being in Kansas City? He did not want to get up there, but I still think we got some good ones.

Love,
janna

Here are some photos of Miss Hannah and big sister Molly. I thought it would be so easy to do newborn pictures. Boy was I wrong. Both little babies were wide awake and didn't like to be naked. I need to figure out some new tricks! I love the babies! It is giving me baby fever!

check it out!

Aubrey and Nick found the coolest caterpillars in our front yard! They are called Luna Moths and they grow up to be 6 inch moths that only fly at night. They had little suction cups feet. We had hours of fun checking these little things out. We had never seen such creatures. Very interesting!
